Renee Shohet is a Texas-born performer, graphic designer, and creative director who is thrilled to be making her NYTF and Showpeople Theatre Collective debut in Shudder. Offstage, she serves as the lead designer at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, a non-profit music school in Park Slope. Rowan is so excited to be joining the cast of Shudder! She was most recently in the world premiere of Pinocchio: The Musical at the Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston. Some of her favorite credits include Madagascar: A Musical Adventure! at the North Shore Music Theatre and traveling as a dancer with Do Portugal Circus. Ali is beyond thrilled to be making her NYC debut in Shudder! She earned her BFA in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory where she performed in Head Over Heels, Machinal, and Swing! She was most recently seen in the world premiere of Pinocchio at The Emerson Colonial Theater in the ensemble and as Associate Choreographer. ​Travis Lavigne is a graduate student at the University of Connecticut studying Music Education. He has collaborated with Showpeople for one year, and has recently become a resident artist in the organization. Outside of Showpeople, he works on his own musicals, works with community and school theater groups, and teaches piano.

Amanda Lee Morrill

(she/her)

Amanda Lee Morrill is a drummer/percussionist with fifteen years of professional experience as a theater musician. While she particularly enjoys working at the regional level, she has also performed off-Broadway as both a chair holder (Lucky Stiff, 2024, AMT Theater) and a substitute musician (Lifeline, 2024, Signature Theatre). Amanda also drums for two singer-songwriter projects and is currently on fellowship at Columbia University, where she is pursuing her doctorate in Ethnomusicology. Brighton Valor Horan (they/them) is a multidisciplinary theatre artist based in NYC and southern New England.
